Della hasn’t always been this good looking.
But we thought she was cute. Here she is at the end of her first week of day care, one year ago.
Anyways, back to the future, Della is still working on her stance. No, not walking yet.
She is by far the latest-to-walk Anderson cousin. But no matter…
Behold, el angel del Stone Hedge. She doesn’t walk; she flies.
What has Della been up to?
Toiling away at this antique computer. So far she knows how to rename files and put folders into other folders.
Hanging out with Annie. Annie knows how to roll down hills and say words, but Della isn’t far behind: click here to see her free-standing.
Liking and looking like her daddy.
Della was sick, but now she’s better. And so is the weather!
We even went on a Potomac River cruise to see the cherry blossoms. There was only one tree in full bloom. Della wanted to jump overboard.
But the blossoms did pop later in the week. These two have it figured out, beating the crowds at 7 am on a weekday.
That same day (today), Della took a dip in the outdoor pool.
She is allowed to drink the pool water.
Here I would just like to point out that Della’s hair is getting some nice curls.
To warm up after the pool, Della enjoyed relaxing with her duck and sippy cup in the baby hammock, even though Steve says she is not a baby.
Oh and here she is playing records in the record room.
To get hyped up for Easter, the Dellas had the Annies over for a sleep. Annie calls everyone in our family “Della”; we think she means it like a surname. Della and especially Annie stayed up late. The parents ate a Japanese dinner. The next day Annie loaned Della a matching dress to wear at Grandma/Grandad’s. We couldn’t get the cousins to pose for a photo in real life, so here is a Photoshopped approximation of what it would look like to see them together.
